Aunt Sally is a legendary punk band, formed by PHEW (now with MOST and big picture)and bikke (now with LOVE JOY) in 1978. For the first time, their 1st. album is available in CD! This is a record of the terrifying late teenagers, who had established their own style almost the same time as the London Punk scene has had occured in the U.K. Members were PHEW(Vo), bikke(G), mayu(Key), Nakaoka Yoshio(B) and Maruyama Takashi(Dr).

PHEW shouted sadistically, "Anyone can be a genius. Just throw yourself on the railway and kill yourself, that's all." Lyrics written from the late teenage girls' cynical point of view would give you a shiver. Be sure to read 6 pages of the extra long liner note, written by Togawa Jun!

Re-issue CD completed with bonus tracks. This is the first collaboration work of Ishikawa Koji, a.k.a."Hadaka no Taisho" and "Totsuzen Danboru", an originator of the phrase "pettara-petarako." In the lyrics of "Home-Run", it says, "I find myself being totally naked in the middest of the serious talk." This phrase run through my head every once in a while as an admonition of my life.

A liner note was written by KERA, a big fan of "Totsuzen Danboru" claims, "I should have known them much earlier than I did." Well, he should have. That is also why his sigh with misfortune story is hilarious. Some might mix-up with "Totsuzen Dance Hall" and "Totsuzen Danboru", but they are DIFFERENT! It's not too late. Know, and recognize them.

Bunya says, "I sing what I want to sing and I sing what I have to sing. Then I sing what I must not sing. This is the 1st album of girls band + NO WAVE Bancho, came out to show their faces from the green onion fields in Fukaya. "Oninko" is a dialect for Onigiri (the rice balls) in Ibaraki area, but wait. Aren' they all from Saitama area? Anyways... They brought instruments to their kin's garage and recorded "Touch", a cover song originally sung by Iwasaki Yoshimi in analogue 8 channel. They also covered "Hey Jude" by The Beatles in wild tune. Their bold cover songs are the real "garage sound" in a way. Howling guitar sound of Gojio made me feel like a girl, experiencing her the very first period.

This is a compiration album of "Kyokubadan." They had performed their guerrilla-like plays at riverbeds, parking lots, college facilities, anywhere and everywhere in Japan back in the 70's against the various supression. Their performing style was called "Nozarashi-Tent Kogyo" which means a tent based theater. This album features music from their plays, once released independently in 1979, 1000 numbered copies. However, it is said that half of them were lost in fire accident, this album later became a legend. Now, the legend is revived in CD! "Gansaku/ Kouya no Dutch Wife", "Nippon Kojiki Opera" and other musical gems are back! Organized by Sakurai Taizo and Sui Rausu.

They do not look like so, but they are extremely talented singers and players. Their mucal roots are jazz, funk, hard rock, and folk music, and those my friend, are all mixed up really well. "Sex, Sports, Study" and "Yan-egu Tengoku" are single cuts from the album "Uma to Ningen" (Currently Sold Out, reissue date is unknown), and the studio version of "Unagi-ya" is also available in this album. This album is also known as "Chinko."

It also incldes "Gokuchu ha Gokugai to Onaji -Unagi-ya-", from the limited compilation album "Shinjuku Meeting." This album is just a first step for you to comprehend Takahashi's world, and it seems like keep expanding still. This album opens with 18min. song, Saigo no Tobira (means The Last Door.) When you open it, you have to prepare yourself for the long long trip. It invites you to the Under na Azuki Ice's season.

I was not ready enough for what I had. Though, when I listen to this now, it sounds really RAD!

As I worked on reissue of Nikudan, I reallized this band's true nature is, all in all, playing on the stage. My impression to Nikudan was changed so much after listening to their live music source. Listen to their representative work "Zangyou no Machi", and feel its' spinning sound!
The lyrics were changed with the lapse of time, it makes you realize the lyrics are the living things. This album includes many unreleased and non-studio-recorded songs. ("Anon" means "He" in Henshin Kirin's lyrics.) The end of The Rabbits embraced them suddenly. There must have been various reasons for the band to break up, but those may not be so strange thing for such great band to put a period on their history. As Miyazawa Shoichi closed the books on The Rabbits, he just returned to his hometown, away from the music scene. If there is such thing called "pararell world", I want to go there, where Miyazawa continues to work on his music, and a street is always filled with The Rabbits' songs. This album is a complete version of The Rabbits' last live. Many live music sources newly found from their early days are also included. The reprint of "The Rabbits Shinbun" featuring an interview of Haino Keiji is also enclosed.

A compilation album of the bands, all enrolled to Kyoto University (a.k.a. Kyo-dai) in the late 70's to the early 80's when New Wave music made a sudden rise. A leader band of Bo Gumbos was Doctor, which KYON had formerly playing before he joined to Bo Gumbos. Vampire!, a main band of Beat Crazy, and many other famous and virtually unknown bands are all together here. Among these bands, Mavo was so nameless, however, their idea for the music and its technique was incredible. Thinking, such music source like Mavo is still buried in the history, the facts make us believe there should be an infinate possibility for the music not only to the future but also in the past. It's sort of valuable, for the reason that you can see legacy of the very first Inuyashiki, Inugoya no Ma! You don't get to see Kokeshi Kombinat anywhere else.
PLEASE skip interviews, because Inundow himself has not yet seen it, and he also think that he said something doesn't make sense, and he was credited wrong as KEIICHI SEKIDO! (Keiichi Ishido is the correct name for Inundow) Go ahead and FF it! This DVD includes MAD3, THE 5678's, and Endo Kenji. With such great lineup, this is not an expensive buy! For those who does not have much interest in Inundow label, this still is a good buy for sure!
